Leeds United could have a much different attack from last season by the time the transfer window closes. The Whites were the top scorers in the Championship with 95 goals on their way to hitting a 100 points and gaining promotion.
Key to the push last season were Joel Piroe, Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon and Dan James. All played a crucial role in attack for the team, with some surprising performances. Under Farke, Aaronson achieved his highest league goal tally of his career, the midfielder only got a role into the team as they failed to secure a top signing.
By the end of the transfer window, Leeds would be without some players who played a part last season. Patrick Bamford’s contract has been terminated as he looks for a new club. Mateo Joseph has been loaned out to Mallorca after refusing to report for pre-season training. And Largie Ramazani has been loaned out to Valencia – the winger provided an assist on his first appearance.

The Whites have been working through a long list of targets over the weekend. Dilane Bakwa, Manor Solomon and Gustavo Hamer were just some of the names included. But a move for all these players seem to have not materialized.
So Leeds turned to Fulham’s Harry Wilson. The club are in talks with the winger over a move. It was initially supposed to be a loan, but was turned down, with Leeds changing their proposal to a permanent deal. Both clubs are looking to push for the move to happen before the deadline, but there are a few obstacles.

According to Joe Donnohue, Fulham will only sanction the deal if they are able to get at least two of their three major targets before the deadline. The London club are in talks with Chelsea for Tyrique George, AC Milan for Samu Chukwueze and Shakhtar for Kevin. All three could be completed before the window closes.
Leeds will be hoping that the necessary deals go through to allow them to sign Harry Wilson before the window slams shut.
