Leeds United boss Daniel Farke dropped a lot of bombshells this week, as the club started their training camp in Germany. The Whites have gotten two tests in the last seven days.
Drawing against Manchester United in Stockholm, and hammering SC Verl in a friendly behind closed doors. Farke made some statements concerning some players at the club this week. One was about Patrick Bamford, who is now not a part of the team’s plans for next season.
Talksport pundit Simon Jordan says he agreed with the decision, saying that Bamford is not a Premier League level player.
“What is the problem with telling the truth? Some people would say it would disadvantage the sale of an asset. The owners must want to downplay the level of contempt you have for a player.
“In this instance, it is clear to him [Farke] that he player is not fit for purpose,…”

After weeks of speculation, it has now been confirmed that James Debayo has left Leeds United.
The youngster had a new contract offer, but chose to turn it down and is now a free agent. According to Sky Sports, a number of clubs in England and Belgium are interested in signing him this summer.
Debayo only saw one appearance last season, coming in for an 89th minute cameo in November.
Daniel Farke had hinted at move already
Leeds boss Daniel Farke had already given a hint on the defender’s situation earlier this week. Debayo was not in West Yorkshire for the fitness tests and training, and did not make the trip to Germany.
“We have proven players, in a really good age, with top character. I think, character-wise, with everyone who will speak here, they will 100% confirm this that they fit into the group.
“We have, for example, replaced two centre-backs — Max Wober and James Debayo — with Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw.”
Youngster made the right decision
Ultimately, playing time was the reason he turned down a new contract offer. Looking at the quality ahead of him this season, it would have been near impossible for him to break into the first team.
Very similar to the situation with Charlie Cresswell last year, Daniel Farke could not fit him into the team as Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk became a formidable defensive partnership. So the defender forced a move away, and has now become one of the most sought after youngsters in Europe this summer.
