Leeds United have done a lot of great work recruiting players this summer, the club have brought in eight new players so far. But on the other hand, the departures have not been as much as expected.
Just one senior player has left the club on a permanent deal. Diogo Monteiro joined Portuguese side Arouca recently. Outside that, the rest have been temporary transfers. Max Wober, Mateo Joseph and Joe Gelhardt have all left the club on loan deals.
Charlie Crew joined Doncaster Rovers on loan and is expected to play first team football this season.
The other players including Wober, Joseph and Gelhardt, were not in the plans this season, but the club could not find permanent deal.

Max Wober was told to find a new club from January after falling out of favour with Daniel Fark. So he joined Werder Bremen this summer on a season-long loan. The defender picked up a knee injury, but it was just a knock he quickly recovered from.
But over the weekend, the defender was taken off in a cup game with another injury. It has now been confirmed that Wober has suffered a thigh muscle injury:
“SV Werder Bremen will be without their defender Maximilian Wöber for the coming weeks. The 27-year-old has suffered a thigh muscle injury.” a statement read.
BILD has confirmed that the defender will be out for up to six to eight weeks.
Werder Bremen to sign Isaac Schmidt as cover
According to reports, Wober’s injury could accelerate the loan deal to sign Isaac Schmidt. Leeds agreed to send the defender to Bremen on loan, but are yet to find a replacement to sanction the deal. The club could now be forced to push to sign Schmidt soon in order to cover for the injured defender.
