Daniel Farke benched Meslier after a series of costly errors threatened the club’s promotion push. Karl Darlow replaced him in the sticks, and Leeds went on an unbeaten run to finish the season – conceding just four goals.

The search for a new goalkeeper at Elland Road continues. Leeds have been linked with big names like Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone this summer, but the club are no closer to announcing a new arrival.
Daniel Farke is now set to make a huge addition to the squad. German outlet BILD are announcing that Leeds United are ”serious” about signing Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz. The backup keeper only featured three times for the Bundesliga champions this season, and is said to be keen on finding playing time elsewhere.
A loan deal for the 24-year old is very possible this summer, with BILD adding that ”talks are underway”. Burnley, Genoa and PSV are also monitoring the situation.
Peretz deal could land Manor Solomon
There is a saying that footballers talk. Its what makes transfers sometimes very easy. Players speak to each other all the time, and try to convince their teammates to switch clubs. This could be the case if Leeds manage to complete a deal for Daniel Peretz. Aside from the Bayern star being a very good keeper, he is teammates with Manor Solomon at international level.
Since Leeds are still discussing a deal with Tottenham for the 25-year old, the transfer could be moved along with the potential arrival of a familiar face. The club could land a ”two for one” deal this summer.
