The aim of this transfer window from Leeds United is to add quality to the team. And the club are off to a great start after news from the weekend.
Lukas Nmecha signed a two year deal with the West Yorkshire club, and will officially arrive in July. Leeds have now added some much needed depth in attack up front. And it looks like the defence is set to be bolstered too, as a deal for Jaka Bijol is set to be completed.
Reports around Elland Road now suggest that a new midfielder could arrive in the coming weeks.

It looks like now that the attack and defence are set to be bolstered, midfield is the next target for the club. Leeds are keen on improving the quality across the spine of the team.
Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that the Whites have made an offer for Union St.Gilloise midfielder Noah Sadiki. The initial offer is said to be close to £8.5million for the 20-year old star. Sadiki is highly rated across Europe, and has attracted the attention of clubs like Lyon and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Union St.Gilloise CEO Philippe Bormans has already admitted that it will be difficult to keep the club’s best players after the season they have had:
“It will be difficult, but we are positive. There is clearly an interest in players like Ivanovic, Vanhoutte and Sadiki. And yes, some of them will surely leave this summer.”
However, he adds that for the right transfer fee, the Brussels club will be open to selling.
“We are a club with a limited budget whose objective is to give a player a chance by helping him progress. We know that if a big European club knocks on our door, the player will leave if all parties are satisfied,”
Noah Sadiki could be another midfield bargain
It will be tough to follow Ao Tanaka’s signing last season, but Sadiki could challenge that notion. The former Anderlecht midfielder has been a highly rated prospect from youth level. He moved to Belgium to play regular minutes, and has shone in the St.Gilloise team.
Sadiki is able to play as a defensive midfielder or higher up the pitch. He has also been used as a center back, showing his versatility. The 20-year old could offer some quality if Leeds do decide to sign him.
