Leeds United had a nightmarish end to their summer transfer window. The Whites were linked with moves for several forwards, and Daniel Farke was keen to bring in two more. However, the club ended deadline day on a poor note after missing out on a key target.
The Whites are still dealing with the ramifications of missing out on Fulham winger Harry Wilson on deadline day, with fans unhappy about the way the club handled their business of improving the club’s forward line in the transfer window. The consensus is that the club are short in the final third.
Leeds have been linked with several free agents since the window closed, but Aleksandar Mitrovic is heading to Qatar, while Josh Brownhill is expected to seal a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
A few more free agents are still looking for a club, and Leeds have been tipped to be in the mix for a Champions League and Premier League-winning star.

Leeds United are in the transfer mix for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain agreed to terminate his contract with Besiktas last month and is keen to return to England this season.
He spent two years at Besiktas after leaving Liverpool, but the move didn’t work out, and he now wants to play in the Premier League or the Championship.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke admitted that English clubs are on high alert now that the England star is available on a free transfer, and Leeds and Birmingham City are among the clubs chasing him.
He is expecting movement in the race to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain in the coming days as he looks to seal a return to England.
“Oxlade-Chamberlain is available as well”, he told Football Insider.
“A number of clubs have been having a look at him.
“He’s got a great CV, played for Arsenal and Liverpool, and he’s a Champions League and Premier League winner from his time at Liverpool.
“Now that he’s left Besiktas, clubs have been put on alert by his availability.
“There’s interest from clubs in the Premier League, Championship and across Europe as well, with Leeds and Birmingham among them.
“So I’m sure he’d be ready to return to England after a couple of years away, and I expect there will be some movement on his future soon.”

Leeds never get the players they put a bid on.we lost so many players this summer to either Liverpool.manu.or other clubs. Why is that??Isnt it attractive to play for Leeds? The Leeds managment are not tough enough to put a pressure of getting the player..what a shame.
