One of the biggest topics in the summer transfer window for Leeds United was Jack Harrison. After spending two seasons on loan at Everton away from Elland Road, many expected him to leave on a permanent deal.
But getting to the start of Leeds’ training camp, no concrete offer had come from the Toffees – David Moyes wanted Harrison, but the club did not see him as a priority signing. He ended up staying and even got called up to the training camp in Germany. Then Daniel Farke made a shocking revelation that the winger would be a part of the team in the coming season; his experience in the league being a main factor.
Many Leeds fans were confused at the decision, and became even more frustrated when younger and more dynamic attackers like Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani were loaned out and Harrison remained at Elland Road.

After failing to start a single Premier League game this year, now Football Insider are reporting that Jack Harrison could be out of the door soon. The report claims that if an attacker manages to arrive in January, then the 28-year old could leave:
“Yeah, it’s a surprise that he’s back at Leeds United really, having had those two loan spells away from Elland Road.
“Look, for Leeds right now, they’re probably looking to strengthen the squad rather than weaken it.
“Harrison, he’s under contract until 2028 as well. Unless there’s a good offer that did come in for him, I’m not sure Leeds would entertain it.
“A lot will depend on what Leeds are able to do in the transfer window themselves if they’re able to bring in attacking reinforcements then maybe that could open the door for a move to Jack Harrison.
“But I don’t think there’s sort of in the making for a potential move away from Harrison right now.
“He will continue to be a part of Farke’s plans and he’ll be hoping that he can break into it and get more game time in the coming weeks up until January window at least.”
Winger has not shown anything for the club to keep him in January
Almost every player that has featured this season has given Daniel Farke a reason to play them. In attack, only Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto have struggled becasue they have been battling with injury. Even with their absence, the Leeds boss has preferred Brenden Aaronson.
Jack Harrison is yet to show why Leeds kept him in the squad this summer, and it could cost him his place at the club.
