Leeds United have been linked with multiple Premier League players ahead of the transfer window. It looks like Daniel Farke and the recruitment team are planning based on experience.
It is believed the Leeds boss wants to turn this squad into a mix of the current setup, with Premier League experience. Players from other European leagues will also be targeted.
The midfield looks to be one area the club are keen on adding to. Reports have linked the Whites with moves for Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff and West Ham’s Tomas Soucek. Both players are midfielders that bring solidity, and can contribute in attack with goals – different profiles from the current crop of players.

A move for Longstaff this summer looks feasible as Magpies boss Eddie Howe said that the midfielder’s future is up to him.
Leeds could now look to add another player from St. James’ Park. The Sun is reporting that Daniel Farke is very keen on adding Callum Wilson to the team this summer. Leeds need firepower, and they see the 33-year old as the ideal signing. Wilson’s contract expires this summer and he will be a free agent.
The striker has dropped down the pecking order this season, playing just 16 times.
Wilson is the perfect addition to the attack
Callum Wilson is reportedly on £110k-per-week, which would scare off most teams. At 33 years old, with a history of injuries, he would be a huge risk. But sometimes risks pay off.

Wilson has 88 Premier League goals in his career, and as recent as 2022/23 he had an 18-goal Premier League campaign. If Leeds really do want a goal threat, he is the perfect option. But the club would have to compromise on his wages.
