The rumours of Illan Meslier leaving Elland Road this summer continue to grow. The Frenchman is reportedly a target of some European clubs, with huge interest from France in the past few days.
A replacement has not been identified yet, but multiple names have already been linked. Angus Gunn, Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone are just some of the names linked with a summer move. According to Alan Nixon, Leeds have their eye on Burnley keeper James Trafford. He is high on their list of possible targets this summer. The England international will be hard to sign, but the Whites feel he is attainable. He has two years left on his contract, which could force the Clarets to consider a deal in the summer.
Leeds would have to pay a premium for Trafford if Burnley are to consider a deal.
James Trafford is the ideal target for Leeds
Trafford is young and already has Premier League experience. What stands out about him is his shot stopping – Sofascore reads that he has prevented just over 12 goals this season.
