Daniel Farke is fighting to save his job at Leeds United after a run of four defeats in their last five Premier League games. He is still in charge, but there is already speculation about who could replace the German at the helm in the next few weeks.
The Leeds manager is in real doldrums as their poor run of form threatens to become a crisis, given the daunting fixtures ahead of the Whites in the coming weeks.
Farke is said to have the next four games to save his future at Leeds. However, the fixture list is not kind as three of those games are against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
There is a growing consensus that Leeds will have a new manager by Christmas, with the form and Farke’s previous torrid time in the Premier League meaning the 49ers are unlikely to show much patience with him.
Brendan Rodgers is one of the names who have been heavily linked with a move to replace Farke, and while he has real Premier League experience, it appears the Leeds fans are completely not sold on him.
Brendan Rodgers is linked with replacing Daniel Farke at Leeds United
Rodgers parted ways with Celtic last month after a serious disagreement with the board, with the club opening coming up and criticising his comments following his departure.

The former Swansea, Liverpool and Leicester boss is believed to be eyeing a Premier League job, and Leeds are said to be interested in the 52-year-old Northern Irishman.
Rodgers has vast Premier League experience and almost won the title at Liverpool before winning the FA Cup with Leicester.
He is known for his attacking brand of football, and his Premier League experience will come in handy if Leeds are to replace Farke with him in the coming weeks.

The 52-year-old wants to return to coaching in the Premier League, and Leeds could be the perfect vehicle for him to return to English football this season.
You’d think Leeds fans would be reunited at the prospect of Rodgers being the manager at Elland Road, but it is not what it seems.
Leeds fans are not sold on Rodgers as the perfect fit for the club
There is a growing consensus in the Leeds fanbase that it is only a matter of time before Farke gets sacked, as the 49ers will not be repeating the mistakes of the previous regime.
However, who will replace the German as the Leeds manager is still very much debatable. Several names, such as Marco Rose and Bo Svensson, have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
Rodgers is someone with real Premier League experience and has managed both at the upper echelons of the top flight as well as working at Swansea when they were a promoted team.
However, the Leeds fans are far from convinced that he is the sureshot fit for Leeds as some are making it out to be.
X user and Leeds fan David Nicholson feels Rodgers’ Premier League record has glaring holes, and winning trophies in Scotland with Celtic is no big achievement.
It’s a big no from me I don’t get all the glaze for Rodgers he took on a decent squad at Swansea and did ok , did nothing at Liverpool and relegated Leicester and let’s be honest you can pick anybody to win titles with Celtic 🤣

Another Leeds supporter feels the club should focus on buying the right players in the winter window rather than replacing Farke at the helm.
We keep suggesting managers to replace Farke, how about buying players that are good enough to compete in the Premier league. I know that sounds radical, maybe worth a thought though.?

However, one Whites fan is in support of bringing in Rodgers as he feels the Leeds bench needs a manager with actual top-class Premier League experience, which the Northern Irishman has.
I would take him right now. Desperately need someone with PL experience and I’m not sure who else is available that’s a better option

Sacking Farke would be a tough decision for the 49ers, given how they have backed him in the last two years. However, it seems clear that their next appointment won’t be a universally popular decision as well.
