Leeds United should be commended for their form this season despite the injury problems they have had to deal with.
Their midfield options were ravaged by the losses of skipper Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev leaving Daniel Farke dependent on Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell, who have both stepped up. These injuries were also compounded by the loss of Max Wober and things have gotten even worse lately.
Leeds were electric at the start of the game against Watford last week driven by their attack. They took the lead after four minutes thanks to an early goal by Largie Ramazani but the wind left their sails when he went off injured with an ankle injury and without him, Leeds struggled for the rest of the game and would fail to score away at Ashton Gate drawing 0-0 with Bristol City.
Now though there is new injury news concerning one of their stars.

New Leeds United injury news
The biggest injury loss of this season has been skipper Ampadu, which was conveyed by Farke at the time.
“It’s a serious knee injury, he has damaged his lateral ligament – the doctors have recommended a conservative treatment so he doesn’t need surgery,” Leeds boss Daniel Farke told BBC Radio Leeds.
“It’s difficult to predict how long he will be out but it’s realistic to speak about 10 weeks until he can return to team training.
“It could be a few days more or less depending on the rehab. At the moment we expect him to be back in training at some point in December but he will need a bit of team training before he’s available.
“We expect him to be back [playing] at some point in January.”
An update has come from a specialist in physio therapy, Brar, speaking to MOT Leeds United News. He believes, that Ampadu could be back early.
He said: “The manager hopes for a December return. If the timeline holds, I would expect him to start individual training at the start of December and then gradually return to first team training based on his response.
“He’s expected to be out of first-team training in November as well.“
