Sometimes before a season begins, your transfer plans can be easily derailed by one move. That is what happened with Leeds United last summer.

Daniel Farke’s side lost the Championship playoff final that year. The fans thought they would keep the team together as they gear up for a promotion push. Unfortunately for them, Premier League clubs swooped in and took three of their best players. Leeds lost Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.

These moves disrupted Daniel Farke’s plans, the Leeds boss had to wait till the final weeks of the transfer window to welcome new arrivals.

Leeds United set to disrupt Everton plans

Leeds continue the search for firepower this summer. The club have been linked with big names like Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson. Joel Piroe will go into next season as the club’s leading striker, and Leeds are keen on adding quality in that position.

Their search for a new attacker could scupper Everton’s plans this summer. Reports claimed that David Moyes wants to add two strikers to his team. The Toffees have already hit a stumbling block as Liam Delap looks set for a move elsewhere.

And now Leeds are set to swoop in for Everton’s plan B. Turkish outlet Fanatik are reporting that Daniel Farke is convinced about Besiktas star Semih Kilicsoy and has given the greenlight for a move. The Whites could end up paying just £10million for the 19-year old.

£10M for Kilicsoy could be a bargain

Leeds have reportedly had their eye on the youngster for a while, and it looks like they are ready to make a move. Kilicsoy is a highly rated prospect in Turkey – he has 14 league goals over the last two seasons.

The teenager has only started 31 games in his career, meaning his scoring rate is impressive for his age. Leeds signing such a talent for this fee would be a huge bargain if he adapts quickly to English football.
