After a hard fought victory this weekend, Leeds United are close to Premier League promotion. The next four games will decide the club’s future.
Burnley’s win on Friday night put all the pressure on the Whites ahead of Saturday’s early kick off. Daniel Farke’s men knew they had to win to remain in the race for automatic promotion. Leeds delivered; beating Preston at home, and with Sheffield United’s loss, the club finally have some breathing space.
It now looks like a straight shoot out between Burnley and Leeds to see who wins the Championship. But this supercomputer prediction has given the Whites the edge.

Leeds take on Oxford United on Friday night. The pressure will once again be on Farke’s men as they play in the late kick off. Burnley play earlier in the day, and could open a three point gap before Leeds kick a ball. The Whites are away to an Oxford side still fighting to secure their survival.
Gary Rowett’s men scraped a huge away win this weekend to distance themselves from the relegation zone. Unfortunately for the club, they could miss club captain Elliott Moore. The defender is yet to return since picking up an injury against Hull City.
Rowett revealed that Moore is not back to full training yet:
“I think Elliott is getting close to that where maybe soon he’ll be back involved. Of course, when you do get back training with the first team, there’s usually a little period where you’ve got to try and build up that confidence and build up that fitness.”
Moore will be a big miss for Oxford
The U’s could be without their captain come Friday. His presence in the backline will sorely be missed. The defender has won the second-most aerial duels in the team this season (75).

Playing against a Leeds side that likes to attack the flanks, Oxford defenders will surely have to be on their toes for 90 minutes.

Wouldn’t matter if he was fit. Did he not play against Leeds when they put 4 past Oxford? The juggernaut that is Leeds will take some stopping now
