Leeds United handed huge injury news

Maximilian Wöber won't be playing the clash against Sheffield United

Leeds United have been doing it tough all season losing the likes of Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev creating major problems in the midfield.

This prompted an immediate signing from the free agent market to ease their woes in this area but the problems keep coming for Daniel Farke.

Even since they returned from the international break, things have been tough and they suffered a heartbreaking blow. Largie Ramazani was excellent at the start to the game against Watford scoring after four minutes as he helped Leeds on their way to a 2-1 win, but he would soon limp off.

It was later revealed that he had suffered ligament damage and would be out for four to six weeks, in a devastating blow that would result in him missing the game at Ashton Gate against Bristol City as they failed to score without Ramazani succumbing to a 0-0 draw.

After the game, speaking to Leeds Live, Manager Daniel Farke highlighted the problems they faced with playing three games in a week:

“Yes, will be good for the players. Brutal week for the internationals after they came back. They have two days off now to calm the load, but we know it’s a big home game next week. Have to keep improving. Proper training week will be good.”

But now there is more injury news for the West Yorkshire club.

As reported by Leeds All Over and MOT Leeds, this week could be a huge boost for the club, with Max Wober potentially set to return to team training after a lengthy injury lay off to provide Farke with more options and opportunities for squad rotation.

Speaking with the Yorkshire Evening Post, recently Farke said of Wober’s fitness:

“Max Wöber he’s a bit ahead of schedule, there’s a chance he could join us in team training next week. Perhaps available before the [November] int’l break.

“We expected him to be back on the other side of the break. It looks okay with him.”

At least some much needed good news for Leeds fans.
