With Premier League promotion out of the way, Leeds United can focus on winning the league with two games to go. They have a tough game on Monday, and will have to play catch up to Burnley.
The Clarets demolished QPR by five goals away from home on Saturday. The day began with Leeds and Burnley both level on 94 points at the top of the table. And now, Scott Parker’s men have opened a three point gap with the Whites set for a crunch tie on Monday night. Ahead of the game, Farke showered praise on Bristol City boss Liam Manning:
”They are playing an outstanding season. If someone deserves to be successful, it deserves to be Liam. Remarkable what they’ve done.”
Daniel Farke also made his opinion clear on the rumours of him being sacked.

Leeds will once again have a massive advantage playing at Elland Road – the Whites are still unbeaten at their home ground this year. Bristol City have their own problems to focus on as they could be missing some key players for the match. Cameron Pring and Joe Williams are set to miss Monday night’s clash according to Manning:
“It’ll be tight again. His [Williams] quad flared up a little bit in the Sunderland game. We did a half job before of settling it enough where he can play through the pain.
Pring’s hamstring problem also means he has been effectively ruled out for the end of the season.
“It’s not looking good. We don’t know the seriousness. I can’t see him being involved in the last two [games] to be honest.”
Both sides played out a goalless draw in the reverse fixture back in October.
Home advantage to be the ultimate trump card
Leeds United are unbeaten at Elland Road in 2025, and this season they have won a staggering 58% of their total points in the Championship. Their home form is one of the main reasons they have come so far in the title race. And the home crowd will definitely prove to be too much for Bristol City on Monday night.
