Leeds United host Thomas Frank’s Spurs side at Elland Road this weekend. Daniel Farke’s side have made the stadium a fortress this season, having gone three games unbeaten.
Leeds have gotten a win over Everton, held Newcastle to a goalless draw and gotten a point off a very good Bournemouth side. The Whites could have gotten three points off the Cherries, but conceded a very late equalizer.
Tottenham will be very wary heading into the weekend after a midweek European game. It has now been over a year since Spurs won the game immediately before the international break. They also lost to Bournemouth before the September international break.

Thomas Frank confirms Spurs injury news

In Friday’s press conference, Frank confirmed some good news and bad news for his side. Fortunately for Spurs, Cristian Romero will be fit enough to play in the game at Elland Road on Saturday. However, he has also ruled out Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani:
“Yes, Romero is fit and available, and he will start tomorrow. Promising news.
“I think there was a contact to the foot, and the medical did a good job to get him turned around, so trained and ready for tomorrow.
“Dom minor procedure went well, that’s good, as I said in Bodo, the timeframe, we will know more when we come back from international.
“So that would be more on the timeframe, to be more specific there, if possible, of course. And Kolo Muani has been on the pitch the last two days. So that’s very positive.”
Dejan Kulusevski, Dragusin and James Maddison are also long term absentees in the squad.

Daniel Farke also confirmed on Thursday that Leeds could be without some key players. Dan James has been ruled out for weeks, and Wilfried Gnonto is expected to be out for Saturday’s game. Brazilian keeper Lucas Perri is back in training, but Farke has suggested this weekend may be too early for his return.
Harry Gray is also a doubt for the game as he has picked up a hip problem. Other than that, the Whites have a healthy number of options available.
