Leeds United are setting their stalls out for a thrilling last few weeks of the transfer window as they look to bring in attacking reinforcements. Daniel Farke is desperate to bring in a few forwards and is insistent that the attack is still not Premier League-ready.
The Whites spent the early part of the transfer window bringing in more depth and strength to their defensive and midfield resources, and Lukas Nmecha was the only striker who was signed on a free transfer after his contract at German club Wolfsburg expired at the end of last season.
With Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph excommunicated from the squad, Joel Piroe and Nmecha are the only recognised strikers at Leeds ahead of their Premier League opener against Everton at Elland Road in less than two weeks.

Leeds United get fresh hope in pursuit of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz
Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz has been the top striker target for Leeds, and they have received encouragement from the Brazilian’s camp to pursue a deal.
Muniz is open to a switch to Elland Road, but talks with Fulham have not gone anywhere as the Cottagers do not want to sell him, and have slapped an asking price above £40m.
Atalanta have shown an interest in him, and the striker has also been on the radar of Newcastle, Tottenham and Aston Villa this summer.
However, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Serie A club have dropped their interest in the Fulham forward and are considering other options.
They were interested in the Brazilian, but they have baulked at the money Fulham are demanding for the forward in the ongoing transfer window.
They feel Muniz is far too expensive, and the club are now looking at other cheaper alternatives.
Leeds are banking on Fulham lowering their demands
Muniz scored eight Premier League goals last season despite not being a starter at Fulham, but he is yet to shoulder the responsibility of carrying an attack in the top flight.
The soaring prices of strikers this summer have encouraged Fulham to slap a big price tag on Muniz while trying to convince him to sign a new contract.
However, no club are yet to get close to matching their financial demands for the Brazilian, and Atalanta decided to drop their interest because of the asking price.
Muniz wants to leave Fulham as he wants to be a starting number 9 next season, and Leeds are hoping that Fulham will eventually agree to a compromise closer to the transfer deadline.
Leeds have continued to assess other targets such as former Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, but Muniz is still on their agenda.
