Some question marks remain concerning the Leeds United team. So far, it looks like the club have addressed one major concern this summer.

Lukas Nmecha has been added to an attack that has been screaming out for some depth. Last season, Patrick Bamford was the third choice striking option and got some minutes in games. Attacking midfield is another position Daniel Farke has been keen on improving.

Brenden Aaronson had a decent campaign last season, but fans watching him were not impressed. Many are concerned about his ability to play at the Premier League level.

Graeme Bailey is reporting that the club will have to decide between to main transfer targets this summer:

“What we’re seeing in the no.10 role is that Leeds are able to be picky. There’s no need to jump in with both feet on a Hamer or a Buendia.

“They are weighing up options but I firmly believe Leeds will sign a no.10 and I also believe the front-runners are those two. It will be one of those and we know Farke likes both of them.

Who should Leeds sign?

Gus Hamer and Emi Buendia are two very good players, but Leeds will eventually decide to sign one of them for next season. Both players have similar qualities and traits. Hamer and Buendia are great on the ball and have the quality to make something happen.

Their statistics from their most recent Premier League campaigns show that they can do a job for Leeds next season.

But ultimately, the choice will come down to a few factors. Buendia has had a bad history with injuries, making his availability questionable. Hamer on the other hand is rarely injured, and contributes often. If Leeds want to splash big, then they know which player to go for this summer.
