The Leeds United squad include a heavy Welsh contingent, with some players featuring in the team that England thrashed 3-0 at Wembley on Thursday night.
England handed Wales a footballing lesson on Thursday night, scoring three early goals that killed the game halfway through the first half, and the Three Lions could have added even more.
Roy Keane slammed the Wales team, which had three Leeds players in the starting eleven, as a lower league team who were hammered by England and shown their level at Wembley.
However, amid the Wales calamity, Joe Rodon stood out with his defensive performance. The scoreline could have been a lot worse if not for the Leeds defender.
Leeds United defender dubbed the star man for Wales

Wales were woeful against England as Thomas Tuchel’s men humiliated the visitors in the first half and maintained complete control throughout the match.
Very few Wales players left with any credit following that performance, but Joe Rodon stood out, and if not for him, the scoreline could have been even more embarrassing.
Local outlet Wales Online paid tribute to the performance, rating it at 7 out of ten, which means he was the best player on the pitch for the away side.
They conceded had it not for Rodon’s crucial defensive actions, the away side could have left Wembley with a far more embarrassing defeat against England.
Wales Online wrote: “Made a fair number of crucial defensive interventions to keep the score down.”
They rated Karl Darlow 6/10 and Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu 5/10 for their performances in the 3-0 defeat.
Rodon has picked up his game in the Premier League
The Welshman is probably the most durable player in the Leeds squad, having missed just one game since joining the club in 2022.
Leeds signed two centre-backs in the summer, but Rodon has not given up his place and has continued to remain one of the most important players in the team.
He scored his first Premier League goal recently, and his performances have gone up a level since he started playing in the top flight this season.
Rodon is a leader in the Leeds dressing room, and it appears that he has the same role in the Wales squad.
