Leeds United disappointed a lot of fans at the transfer deadline. Despite the club making 10 new signings this summer window, many felt that the club needed a few more pieces.
And it has been really evident in the results so far. Daniel Farke asked the club for attacking reinforcements since pre-season, but Leeds only gave him three players in total. Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were free transfers while Noah Okafor was signed from AC Milan.
The attack still seems to be a problem; the Whites have a total of two goals in four games played this season. Maybe another attacker through the door would have changed fortunes.

But it is not all doom and gloom at Elland Road, the club have four points from nine in the Premier League and have kept two clean sheets against much better opponents.
Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke understands that Leeds will be active in the January transfer window:
“Leeds would ideally have liked to add another forward and an attacking midfielder to bolster their goalscoring options”
“Somebody’s described it to me as Daniel Farke ‘going into a gunfight with a water pistol’ – maybe that’s a bit over the top.
“The midfield looks strong; the defence is good as well, and the new goalkeeper in Lucas Perri, so it’s been some good business.
“Leeds feel that they’re a bit light in the final third, and will be hoping that if they’re still in contention to stay up by January, maybe they can add to the squad then.”
What does this mean for PSR?
Leeds United managing director Robbie Evans spoke to local media over the international break. Most of the topics were about the transfer window and how the club approached it.
In his submission he said that the club had ”maxed out” their PSR, which made it difficult to get some deals across the line near the end of the window. So if the club really wants to make moves in the winter transfer window, a big name could be sold. The club would have to move one of their most valuable players when the window comes around.
