Leeds United are working on a number of exits in the early weeks of this transfer window. Some players are on their way out of the club pending transfers.
Fans discovered this week that Max Wober is one of the players set to leave this summer. The Austrian was in action for his country in the World Cup qualifiers. After the game, the 27-year made the stunning admission that the Whites have been trying to sell him:
“Leeds has already made it clear to me that they want to sell me,” he said.
“I might have been able to send out a letter of application [with his display against Romania]. It was simply a good feeling to be back on the pitch and show that I can still play well, and that I definitely deserve to be here. I was extremely pleased that I was able to show other clubs that I’m fit, that I’m still a really good player, and that I don’t want to just rot away in England.”

With one defender set to leave this summer, Leeds are already planning his replacement. This week, the Whites have started working on a move for Udinese defender Jaka Bijol.
As of Wednesday, Breren Cross of The Athletic has revealed that sources at the club can confirm that talks have ‘accelerated’. No fee has been confirmed, but it is believed that Leeds will match the Italian’s valuation of £15-16million. The 26-year old has been a standout in the Serie A for the past few seasons.
Leeds have been very confident of a deal since the whole process began.
Big move by the club
If Leeds are able to sign Bijol, it would be a huge statement. Other clubs across Europe are also after the Slovenian international. Making a signing like this shows how ambitious Leeds’ owners are heading into their Premier League return. Fans should be happy to hear this news.
