Leeds United have had a plan all along this summer. Each move they have made has been calculated, and it is paying dividends with the number of deals completed.
The club have signed six players for around £60million this summer. Leeds have targeted players from Europe’s top leagues, showing how they are focused on getting quality to plug the holes in the squad.
Sources in the club say Daniel Farke has opted for a ”back to front” approach with the signings. He has been building from the defensive line, and recently, the club seem to have finished their business with midfielders. The plan now is to bring in two attackers; a winger and a new center forward.
Recent news could disrupt the club’s plans as striker Mateo Joseph requests a move away from the club.

According to Fotospor in Turkey, Leeds are in ”constant contact” with Galatasaray over a move for Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara. Sara had an impressive campaign last season, and has attracted some interest across Europe. However, the report believe Galatasaray will fight to keep the Brazilian.
It will take an ”incredible” offer to convince the Turkish side to part ways. Sara only joined Galatasaray last year, making it more difficult for the club to let him go so fast.
Leeds could finally get their playmaker
With Daniel Farke possibly shifting to a three man midfield, Gabriel Sara would be perfect for the number 8 role.
He already plays a similar position for Galatasaray – his creativity and skill on the ball is off the charts. Last season, he provided eight assists and created 12 big chances.
German expert gives verdict on Anton Stach signing
Sara could eventually end up playing alongside new signing Anton Stach. Leeds confirmed the signing of the towering midfielder on Tuesday.

German football journalist Marie Schulte-Bockum spoke on how the former Hoffenheim man could adapt to English football:
“He is perfect for the Premier League, tall, physical, great passer of the ball.” he said, speaking to MOT Leeds News.
“With his profile, he can play as a centre-back in a back three, a back four or as a number six or eight (he came up as a midfielder but Hoffenheim frequently used him as a CB last year).
“I don’t know enough about Leeds’ squad, but in terms of playing style, it’ll be a quick transition for Stach.”
