Leeds United will be up against a very difficult Fulham side this weekend. Daniel Farke’s away record this season will be really put to the test when the Whites visit the Londoners.
Leeds have failed to win a single game on the road this season; losing 5-0 to Arsenal and exiting the EFL cup to Sheffield Wednesday. Fulham are without a win in the league this season, but Marco Silva is aware that the Whites will present a tough task:
“Very tough game as always,” said Silva. “When you are in the Championship and you win promotion, that winning mentality and good vibes when you are winning games, if you can keep that going into the Premier League season, it’s very important. They’ve done that.
“They’ve got that mentality where getting promoted means you’ve been winning most of your games. They’ve had a good start to the Premier League season. Elland Road, you know it’s going to be tough for any team to play there, and they had a tough game away from home.
“It’s going to be tough. A very aggressive side with some quality players.”
Daniel Farke will be hoping his side can repeat the Newcastle result on Saturday.

Leeds will be pleased to welcome both Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka back to the squad. Daniel Farke says it is possible that both players make the trip to London on Saturday. Leeds will however be without Lucas Perri, who has picked up a muscle injury and is expected to be out for at least two games.
Speaking of injury problems, journalist Adam Pope has shared what he has heard about a new signing. According to him, Noah Okafor is not yet up to speed when it comes to match fitness:
“Okafor’s interesting, I just read an article about him, how he’s been using this trainer who has been helping him do his own sprinting,” he said.
“There’s a suggestion that he (Okafor) hasn’t been quite at full speed either, so is he the number one pick now, and does Gnonto go back down?” Pope said.
There is every chance Wilfried Gnonto is given the nod ahead of the Swiss international this weekend. The Italian forward has been speaking this week on how he can add to the goals this campaign.
