Leeds’ search for potential targets has lead them to Turkey. According to Rabona journalist Firat Gunayer, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be set for a return to England. And Leeds United are one of the clubs he is being heavily linked to.

The 31-year old moved to Turkey after close to a decade in English football, and could be now set for a sensational return. Leicester City and Leeds are keen on a move, with the Whites having prepared an offer.

Besiktas are also reportedly happy to move on from Oxlade-Chamberlain to get his salary off the wage bill. The midfielder has one year remaining on his current deal at the club.

Oxlade-Chamberlain could be a useful addition

Premier League experience is something Leeds could do with next season. Oxlade-Chamberlain could be a very good squad player, as he offers dynamism and attacking instinct in midfield. The 31-year old has a different profile from some of the club’s players, and can also be deployed in different attacking roles.

If his wages are not a huge obstacle, the Whites definitely need to push for a deal.
