Leeds United are back in the Premier League this season, and they have looked more than just competitive at the start of the campaign. The Whites are keen to reestablish themselves as a top-flight side, and they are also bringing back a few heroes from the past to build a culture around the club.
Daniel Farke’s men threw away a win in the dying moments against Bournemouth at Elland Road when the away side converted a late set-piece in injury time to make it 2-2.
However, the result didn’t mask the fact that Leeds again looked fantastic against an established Premier League side, with Andoni Iraola admitting that the home side were a level above his team on Saturday.
The game also marked the return of Leeds legend Lucas Radebe to Elland Road in an official role, with the Whites announcing his appointment as their new club ambassador.
The Leeds United legend has given his reaction to returning to Elland Road

The South African centre-back was a cult hero at Leeds during his 11-year stay at the club, and is considered one of the best to play at Elland Road.
Radebe was a hugely popular figure and took to Leeds as his own club, with the fans reciprocating the same kind of love towards the former defender.
He has officially been appointed as a Leeds United ambassador and is eager to forge a strong connection with both the fans and the wider community, mirroring the bond he shared with the Whites during his playing days
Radebe took to X and wrote: “Honoured Leeds United.
“Looking forward to a close relationship with the fans and community.”
