Having a great transfer window boosts your chances of Premier League survival. This is what happened the last time Leeds United were in the top flight.
In 2020, the club brought in Raphinha and Rodrigo Moreno when they were promoted. Both players played a key part in Leeds’ survival. Come next season, the Whites will need quality in all areas of the pitch if they want to survive.
Daniel Farke and the recruitment team are already working on some names ahead of this summer. Leeds fans will hope the club can repeat that summer window back in 2020.

Daniel Farke and the recruitment team already have their eye on some areas of the team they will improve. Goalkeeping seems to be the priority, after Wolves star Sam Johnstone was linked with a move to Elland Road this week.
It has been reported that Leeds will be in search of a striker this summer, as Joel Piroe does not have a capable backup. George Simms has suggested that Leeds take a look at Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin:
“Bringing in a striker of unquestionable Premier League quality would provide Leeds with a key asset for survival”, he wrote in The iPaper.
“Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be available on a free, while West Ham’s Danny Ings is another possible option.”
The 28-year old is out of contract this summer, and Leeds could snap him up on a free transfer.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin immediately becomes first choice striker
Some fans will ask why a player who had just three league goals all season is better than Joel Piroe. Calvert-Lewin is Premier League experience you cannot get cheaply. Leeds will have the opportunity to try and sign him for free this summer.

His all round play is much more impressive than Joel Piroe, who often goes missing in games when Leeds cannot dominate. Calvert-Lewin makes a nuisance for himself when he plays – engaging defenders, winning duels and holding up the ball. This kind of opportunity does not come often, so Leeds need to capitalize on it.

No thanks. Once prolific but pretty invisible now, Far batter out there for Leeds is they want to stay in the PL
