Leeds United look set to announce signing this summer – £15M fee mentioned

With Premier League football secured, Leeds United can now focus on the transfer market. The club will be hoping to avoid what happened this season if they want to stand a chance of survival.

Before the season began, Leeds had lost three of their best players from last season. Losing the playoff final saw a mass exodus of players. Among them were Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter. This trio went to the Premier League for over £100million combined.

Even though Daniel Farke was frustrated with the activity, the club were able to bring in some signings late in the window.

Manor Solomon was among a host of new faces to arrive at Elland Road in the summer. The Spurs loanee came in with low expectations, especially after missing crucial parts of the previous season with a major injury.

Since the forward started this season he has not looked back. His nine goals and 11 assists have fired the club to promotion. Now, GiveMeSport is reporting that the 25 year old is keen on continuing his career at Elland Road. Promotion to the Premier League seems to be the factor swaying Solomon to consider a long term future in West Yorkshire.

A fee of around 15million has been mentioned for the Tottenham Hostpur loanee.

Big move for the club

Manor Solomon is the exact player Leeds need for next season. He is young, and has loads of Premier League experience. Most importantly, he now has a connection to the club that could easily convince him to join. Leeds would have to sort out his huge £45,000-per-week wages, but it is worth it for a player of this calibre.

The Whites are also looking to add Kalvin Phillips this summer.
