Leeds United have decisions to make in the coming days as Daniel Farke pushes to bring in more quality before the transfer window closes next week.

Farke has made it clear that his squad need strengthening in certain areas for him to feel comfortable about his options for the rest of the Premier League season.

Leeds have signed four quality players to improve a team that finished 14th in the Premier League last season, and the Whites are being considered as one of the teams who could break into the top 10 this term.

However, Leeds need a few more players to fill gaps in their squad, and they also have decisions on certain stars who are attracting interest from a few clubs.

Leeds United decide on star man’s future amid Wrexham interest

The Whites need a few players to leave for the overall balance of their squad, and the club are working on finalising those departures.

Lucas Perri has been cleared to travel to Italy and complete the formalities of his initial loan move to Torino. Leeds are also trying to find a solution for Largie Ramazani, who has offers from Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

Lukas Nmecha’s future has come under the scanner due to interest from Championship club Wrexham, who are plotting an ambitious bid to sign the Leeds striker.

However, according to Football Insider, Farke has no interest in letting Nmecha leave before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

He is the only backup to Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the squad, and the club do not want to weaken their squad this late in the window.

Leeds are in the market for one more striker, and even if they bring one in, it seems unlikely Nmecha will be allowed to leave.

Farke believes the striker will come in handy at some point in the season, given Calvert-Lewin’s injury history.

Leeds can’t afford to sell Nmecha

Nmecha is one of Leeds’ big opportunities to earn a big profit this summer. He arrived on a free transfer last year, and Wrexham would be prepared to offer a decent fee.

However, Leeds have very little time to source a replacement, and the decision to keep him at Elland Road is the right one at this stage.

He is not a prolific goalscorer, but he can lead the line well in Calvert-Lewin’s absence and has often made an impact from the bench since his arrival.

Leeds still do not have another striker in their squad, and selling Nmecha would be a major risk at this stage of the transfer window.
