Leeds United signed 10 new players in the summer transfer window. But not all of them have gone off to a hot start at Elland Road – some have shown they were worth the fee but others are even yet to touch the pitch.
Anton Stach, Sean Longstaff and Gabriel Gudmundsson lead the pack in terms of the most impact. The Athletic recently rated Stach as the summer signing with the most impact in the league so far. Lucas Perri also had a decent start, but his time has been disrupted after missing a few games with an injury.
Others in the team are yet to even feature in the league since they joined. Defensive signings Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw have been on the bench as Daniel Farke has preferred Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon.

Jaka Bijol stars against Kosovo

Bijol has yet to play a league game which has raised some eyebrows; Daniel Farke explained that the Slovenian missing a few games at the start of the season is the only reason he is yet to play. The defender has spoken during this international break, saying that his time will come in the first team.
And his performance against Kosovo amplified that sentiment. After a not so great run of games in the last international break, Bijol seems to have bounced back with his game on Friday night.

The center back finished the game with five ball recoveries, three clearances and won 80% of his aerial duels in the game. Slovenia played a 0-0 draw on the night, so it was another huge positive for the Leeds man.
Leeds United signing could replace Pascal Struijk
Graham Smyth has recently spoken about what happened in the loss to Spurs last weekend. He pointed the finger at Pascal Struijk for being to slow to react to the ball in behind for Mathys Tel’s first goal in the game.
It was not really an error, but Struijk failing to anticipate the situation was bad defending. This may see Bijol make his way into the lineup if the Dutch defender keeps having these lapses.
