Leeds United face Burnley today as the Whites prepare for their first clash after the October international break. Consequently, it is also Burnley’s first clash after the break, and the Clarets haven’t won a single game in their last six clashes.
With four points in seven games, Burnley are looking straight into the relegation zone. The Whites, on the other hand, are a bit better off with double the points of their rivals and a standing at 15th place.
Most of the losses for the Yorkshire-based outfit have been by a tiny difference, except against Arsenal. The Gunners didn’t go easy at the Emirates Stadium as the home side netted five, ending the game in total humiliation.
Burnley, on the other hand, has only won a single game in the English Premier League this season. Leeds midfielder Sean Longstaff is pretty certain of three points as the Whites pack their bag for a trip to Lancashire.

Having arrived this summer, Sean Longstaff has already made himself at home in Yorkshire. While in talks with the Premier League Productions, the Englishman revealed his opinions on the journey so far and today’s clash against the Clarets.
“I think it’s been really positive. I think we should be on more points than we probably are. Probably with the exception of Arsenal, I think we’ve been more than competitive in every single game we’ve played.”
The midfielder also talked about the fine margins and how they can be fixed soon. He believes it is for the best that problems are arising earlier in the season.
“It’s just fine margins, really, that I think it’s probably better to get them out of the way early and let us learn from them early rather than after game 30, and you think we’ve got eight games left and we’re still having a lesson in a way.”
“So I think for us it’s been really positive. I think no matter who we’ve played against, we’ve played against some really good teams as well – a lot of teams near the top of the league and stuff.”
“It’s an important game, but I think every game in the Premier League is an important game. I know that sounds really cliché and really boring, but it’s the truth! Obviously, it’s a game that both teams will be looking to attack and try to win.”
“I think it’s just a game to look at with a lot of positivity and go there and try to take three points from it. It’s about building and still trying to stick to our processes, and hopefully that’ll help us get the right outcome.”
