Leeds United had been in for another winger as well as Dan James during the transfer window.
The West Yorkshire club were said to be interested in Porto winger Luis Diaz but the Portuguese club made it clear that he was going nowhere for less than £68 million, according to Record.
Record reported that club President Pinto Da Costa held a meeting with Diaz and his representatives, stating that the club would not accept a penny less than £68 million for a man who has been linked with a Premier League move before.
