Leeds United could be set for a huge stumbling block in a potential transfer deal.
Leeds are missing a lot of key players as the club continue their promotion push. Daniel Farke was very concerned about recent injuries at the club after the loss to Millwall:
“It seems like most of the players came through the game without major injury. There are one or two knocks and some tired legs. We have to see how they recover over the next 48 hours to be ready again in order to make some late decisions if we have to change it or mix it up. It seems like all the players who were with us will be available.”
Leeds are still in third position in the championship, but have closed the gap to Sunderland to two points after their promotion rivals dropped points this weekend.

Leeds United could miss out on star free agent

Ethan Ampadu and Illia Gruev remain out on the sidelines as Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell continue to impress. Tanaka was named in the Japan squad for the upcoming international break.
The midfield issues led to the club signing Josuha Guilavogui on a free. And it looks like a deal for another free agent may be on the cards.
Leeds United have been strongly linked with former Rangers winger Ryan Kent. The player is a free agent after his contract with Fenerbahce was terminated earlier this year.
Kent has been linked with a lot of clubs since his release. According to the Scottish Sun, Preston North End have entered the race for the 28-year old.
The Scotsman would be the dream signing for any club in the championship; his last full season with Rangers saw him provide 11 goal contributions as well as a deep run in European competitions.
The club need to act fast on Ryan Kent
The midweek defeat was a big sign for Leeds United. After Japhet Tanganga put Millwall in the lead during the first half, Daniel Farke’s men struggled to create anything meaningful.
Mateo Joseph, Patrick Bamford and Manor Solomon all came on during the dying moments of the game but could not salvage a result.
With another club strongly linked to Ryan Kent, Leeds should go all out for a player who could seriously boost promotion chances.
