Leeds United splashed over ÂŁ100m on 10 new arrivals in the recently concluded summer transfer window. While some observers argue the club fell short in bolstering their forward line, many agree they did well to strengthen both defence and midfield.
There is no hiding the fact that Leeds had a nightmare end to the transfer window. Daniel Farke kept insisting on signing two more forwards, but the club failed to bring in even one when their pursuit of Wales winger Harry Wilson collapsed once Fulham changed their mind about selling him.
However, Leeds are insistent that one bad day at the end of the window should not redefine the good work they carried out throughout the summer, and believe they have done a decent job of retooling the squad for the Premier League.
Leeds have earned four points from their opening three league games, but the Whites fans are yet to see the full value of the work done in the summer, as some of their recruits, such as Jaka Bijol, are yet to start a league game.
Can you name these 10 former Leeds United goalkeepers?

Leeds United new boy, Jaka Bijol, is ready to remain patient

Leeds splashed out ÂŁ15m to sign Bijol from Serie A side Udinese, and he was expected to start the season as first-choice centre-back at Elland Road.
However, he was suspended for the first game of the Premier League season due to a red card he picked up in his last appearance for Udinese, and Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk have done nothing wrong to get dropped yet.
The 26-year-old defender started in the EFL Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, but has remained an unused substitute in the last two Premier League games.
However, Bijol is insistent that missing a couple of Premier League games is no big deal at the start of his Leeds career this season.
He stressed that he is yet to get a real chance to play more league football, and stressed that he needs time to show what he can do in a Leeds shirt.
“Two games on the bench is no big deal”, Bijol was quoted as saying by Dnevik.
“I haven’t had a real chance to earn minutes at Leeds yet. Give me a little more time to show what I can do.”
Leeds need Bijol to succeed
Leeds fans are unhappy since the transfer window ended. They have a lot to crib about after the club failed to bring in the extra forwards towards the final days of the summer.
The club now need most of their summer signings to work out to boost their chances of survival in the Premier League this season.
Bijol is seen as a starting eleven centre-back, but for now, he will have to wait to get his opportunity to start in the league games. However, once he does, the Slovenian needs to hit the ground running and provide the solidity Leed will need this season.
