Leeds United player now a ‘major doubt’ for next game after suffering ankle injury

There was a lot of concern in the summer when Leeds United let go of some players before the transfer deadline. Particularly with the attacking players that were let go.

Many thought it was wrong for Daniel Farke to give the green light for the exits of Patrick Bamford, Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani. Especially when the current options in the team lacked a bit of quality and depth.

But with Leeds having had a very positive start to the season, no one is really concerned about those options anymore.

Leeds loanee Largie Ramazani has picked up a knock according to Valencia coach Carlos Corberan. The winger was on the end of a heavy challenge from Athletic Club’s Unai Gomez, when he came on as a substitute. Ramazani is now a doubt for the next game.

“All players have the opportunity to play. The only question mark is Ramazani, and we will have to see if he makes the squad.

We do not know if he will be available after the foul he suffered. We will not know if he will be ready to play because he took a blow to the ankle.

Other than that, all players are options,” Corberan said.

AS reported that Ramazani did train on Monday, but did not go into details on the session.

How has Largie Ramazani performed this season

Since the Belgian’s amazing start to life at Valencia, things have gotten pretty quiet. Ramazani is yet to start a game in La Liga, and has only played two more games since he got an assist on his debut. The winger has failed to deliver another goal contribution since the win over Getafe. He came on as a substitute in the 6-0 defeat to Barcelona and failed to complete a successful dribble. And in Valencia’s 2-0 win over Athletic Club, Ramazani missed a big chance after he came off the bench an hour into the game.

There are a lot of games left this season, so hopefully this is just a glitch for the Leeds man. His teammates and head coach are clearly big fans of him and how he plays.
