With days left in the transfer window, Leeds are casting their net far and wide for attacking options, and the club are keen to explore a few unusual deals.
According to German daily Bild, the Whites are among the clubs that have made enquiries for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this summer.
A former Chelsea and Tottenham forward, the 29-year-old has a year left on his contract at Leipzig, and the club are keen to sell him before the window closes.
Leeds have probed the possibility of signing him, along with fellow newly-promoted side Burnley, this summer.
However, as things stand, the striker is not warming up to the idea of joining either of the two clubs before the September 1st transfer deadline.
Leeds’ association with Red Bull means they could get a favourable deal should Werner become open to the idea of moving to Elland Road in the next few days.
