Leeds United promotion rivals Burnley are facing the prospect of losing Luca Koleosho amidst interest from several Premier League teams ahead of the winter window.

Koleosho has made a good start to the season and has scored twice, including the winner against Leeds at Elland Road earlier this month.

He is expected to be a key player if Burnley are to get promoted straight back up to the Premier League this season under the tutelage of Scott Parker.

However, his performances have also been picked up by a bevvy of Premier League clubs and Burnley could be forced to entertain offers for him in the January transfer window.

Burgeoning Premier League interest in the man who scored against Leeds United at Elland Road this month

According to HITC, several Premier League sides are now keeping close tabs on the winger’s performances ahead of the January window.

Koleosho is now being watched by several top-flight clubs and Newcastle are claimed to be interested in getting their hands on him

The Magpies had a disappointing summer transfer window and are expected to have money to spend when the January window rolls out.

The Italy Under-21 international has also attracted the attention of Wolves who have been keen on him for a while.

Aston Villa, Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace also sent scouts to watch the Burnley winger in action in recent weeks.

If he continues to play at a high level over the next couple of months, Burnley are facing the risk of clubs in the Premier League trying to snare him away from the Clarets in the winter transfer window.

It would take a big fee to convince Burnley to sell the player in the middle of the season given their aim of getting promoted to the Premier League.

Burnley would hope the player would want to spend the season at the club before considering any moves.
