With just a few weeks left to the start of the Premier League, Leeds United need to move players out of the door. The club have done great business bringing in seven new signings.
But the current squad size is quite large. Daniel Farke made his stance clear on a lot of players during the pre-season camp. If a current first team star is not in Germany with the team, the chance of him being in the plans next season are very low. Patrick Bamford is set to be on his way out after a conversation with Daniel Farke. Mateo Joseph is also expected to leave after asking for a transfer, and failing to show up to camp in Germany.
The likes of Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi have been told to find new clubs.

It was revealed earlier this week that Isaac Schmidt was heading out on loan. Werder Bremen have agreed a deal for the Swiss defender, but the deal is yet to be completed. Schmidt’s agent hinted that the player would look for a way out this season after playing a total of 94 league minutes.
Leeds were linked with Leicester City fullback James Justin, but he is considered one option to replace Schmidt. Journalist Sebastien Vidal is now reporting that the club will now make a push for the 27-year old. Daniel Farke admires the players ability to cover both flanks.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is a serious option
Leeds have also been offered Lyon fullback Ainsley Maitland-Niles. According to reports, the former Arsenal man is keen on a return to England. Graeme Bailey says that the club are assessing a move for the player.
“Leeds are one of the clubs who have been offered Ainsley Maitland-Niles. I’m told lots of Premier League clubs have been offered him. He’s the sort of player Leeds need in terms of both full-back positions.”
“Leeds are one of the teams who have been offered him. He’s available, intermediaries doing the work, he’s been pushed to a few clubs. What I can say, is he does want to come back to England,”
Isaac Schmidt’s career might be over
Just like with Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt could be done at Leeds United. He barely impressed when he played, and Daniel Farke benched him for most of the time he was fit.
There is a high chance that after his loan, he will not be returning to West Yorkshire.
