Leeds United have done it tough with injuries this season, whether it was losing Ethan Ampadu or Ilia Gruev, their problems seem to be mounting up.
On Tuesday night (October 22nd) a new concern emerged. Leeds started brilliantly against Watford storming 2-0 up inside seven minutes thanks to their attacking talent led by Largie Ramazani. He scored the opener and proved difficult for Watford to handle throughout the game until he limped off with an ankle injury.
Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Carlton Palmer was worried speaking to Football League World to say:
“Leeds United have done fantastically well this season given the injury problems they’ve had. The situation they had was making the Leeds hierarchy look into the players who are out of contract at the moment and not being picked up by a club, but at the moment they’re still managing to pick up results.”
But it has now been revealed how bad the injury is.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Leeds United’s clash with Bristol City on Saturday lunchtime (26th October), Daniel Farke was unsurprisingly asked about Ramazani’s injury.
He had already confirmed that he was set to miss the game against Bristol City alongside the suspended Junior Firpo who has amassed five yellow cards already this season.
But Ramazani’s loss was not preventable and will be much longer than one game like Firpo’s with Farke confirming he will be out for weeks.
Leeds United News reported that he said: “Sadly bad news with him. Twisted his ankle. Sadly it’s a serious ligament injury. Doesn’t need surgery but will be out four-to-six weeks. Best case last week of November.”
This means he will be out for a number of games, and miss at least a month of crucial action for the promotion chasing Leeds United who could ill afford another injury blow at this crucial stage of the season.
They have been linked with a move for former Liverpool forward Ryan Kent who could feasibly ease their woes up front.
