Leeds United receive huge news ahead of the return from the international break.
The Whites had 13 players called up for international duty. Daniel Farke will be pleased to receive good news as none of them have sustain any major injuries. Even better news is how most of the players returned to Thorp Arch with days to rest. The last international break saw players still playing for their countries 72 hours before the next league game.
Leeds had some standout performers during the international break; Joe Rodon was immense for Wales in their game against Turkey, while Mateo Joseph stole the show for Spain U21s. Some players reported earlier this week, ahead of this weekend’s game.

Daniel Farke also had the chance to work with players recovering from injury and making their way back to fitness. Leeds lost Ethan Ampadu and Illia Gruev just a few months into the campaign. Star summer signing Largie Ramazani also picked up an injury before the international break.
Ahead of this weekend’s game against Swansea City, Leeds United have received a huge boost as they welcome back some players. Daniel Farke was pleased to reveal that Ramazani is in contention to make the matchday squad this weekend:
“We have at least two training sessions with the lads compared to last international break. Good news for the players who were away on int’l duty, all came back without new injuries or illness. Brenden had a little illness but everything is okay, he’s back. It was quite beneficial for him after lots of load. Bad news with Isaac Schmidt, he needed a little hernia surgery, he will definitely miss out [vs Swansea]. Hope to have him back in training next week. Apart from this Max Wober came back after 90 minutes [for Austria]. Bit concerned he played 90 mins straight out of the cold. Knee reacted a little bit. We had to look after him this week. Good with him. Largie joined us for first time in parts of team training this week. Next week, three games in six days will come a bit too soon for starting lineup but could be a topic for the squad.” he said (quotes via YEP)
Farke was also happy that he got to rest some players and work on some individual training during the break.
Ramazani a welcome addition
Leeds fans saw a glimpse of the Belgian star in his first few games, he showed some promise as he scored three goals and provided an assist. Having him back would be great, the team would have additional depth in attack ahead of a packed festive schedule.
