Leeds United fans will fondly remember last season in the Championship. It ended in bliss as the club hit the 100 point mark, scoring 95 goals on their way to lifting the league title.
Daniel Farke achieved the feat of promotion after just his second year in charge. After lifting the trophy, the club’s ownership told the fans that they would ”spend every penny” to build a team good enough for the top flight. Leeds fans were pleased after hearing that news, but months later, there are now real concerns about the club’s ambition. The club spent close to £100million, but failed to improve the attack significantly – two free transfers and Noah Okafor were the only notable additions.
The last defeat to Fulham is still on the minds of everyone, as Daniel Farke’s men prepare to face Wolves next weekend.
