Leeds United are playing in the Premier League next season. But with the transfer window coming up, there are still some questions about the squad that need to be answered.
Starting striker Joel Piroe has been first choice over the last two seasons. And he has delivered, scoring over 35 goals. But in recent weeks, Leeds’ rumoured moves show that there may be doubt over his ability heading into the Premier League. Over the last month, the club have been linked with George Hirst, and more recently Celtic star Daizen Maeda.
Wrexham are also said to be very interested in signing Patrick Bamford this summer, so Leeds will definitely sign a new striker.

Leeds United three-man shortlist revealed
TEAMtalk are reporting that Leeds United have drawn up a shortlist of strikers for the summer. It includes two current Premier League players, and a former Tottenham star. But surprisingly, the trio have just 19 career goals in the competition. Whichever of them the club decides to sign will have a big say in surviving relegation next season.

The Brighton man is currently on loan at West Ham. Since he burst onto the scene a few years ago, injuries have hampered his development. Ferguson has lost his place in the Brighton team, and there is a big chance that he chooses to leave in search of playing time when the summer comes around.

Another highly-rated youngster from a few years ago. The former Aston Villa man joined Southampton last summer, after impressive spells on loan in the Championship. Reports claim the Saints would be looking for a fee around the £15million they initially paid for him. He lacks a lot of top level experience, but he could be the perfect depth option for Leeds next season.
Troy Parrott

Parrott is by far the most experienced of the three. He started his career at Spurs but has since gone on to join AZ in the Eredivisie. The 23-year old has 37 league goals in the last two seasons. Out of all three players on the shortlist, he would be the most suited to lead the line in the Premier League. TEAMtalk report that he would come with a £21million price tag.
