£15 million winger loan deal faces hiccup – opens door for Leeds United

Another man leaves Leeds United as the club sits with a pile of money to use for departure replacements. Frenchman Giorginio Rutter has verbally agreed to leave for AMEX Stadium after Brighton triggered the attacker’s release clause.

Rutter was supposed to be one of the main men in Farke’s squad but a move to Premier League has been sanctioned for the 22-year-old. Replacing another talented player will be a pain for The Whites. The club is yet to find replacements for previously departed players.

One of the main players not to be replaced yet is Crysencio Summerville. The Dutchman left Elland Road for the Premier League in a deal worth £25 million plus add-ons.

Jonathan Rowe was identified as the prime suspect for Summerville’s replacement and The 49ers are ready to make a new move with a reported £10 million bid.

There haven’t been any updates since then hence only time will tell whether the bid succeeds or not. Another winger who was on Leeds United’s radar was Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

Having lost the race to Sheffield United, the club moved their focus back to Rowe. However, some new updates have leaked out of Bramall Lane, which might interest The Whites.

According to Alan Nixon, The Blades have hit a roadblock in the signing of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. This hiccup in the deal has opened up during negotiations and The Whites will be eager to pounce on this opportunity.

The 49ers will want to shift their focus on a loan deal though as The Eagles aren’t interested in a permanent move for the youngster. The Rowe deal is still underway and United will have to decide on a winger to pursue though.

The West Yorkshire outfit are reading an offer for Jonathan Rowe. But a Rak-Sakyi deal could also provide the same prospect in replacing Crysencio and adding a goal-scoring threat in the frontline.

This element was sorely lacking in the game against Portsmouth and Middlesbrough. The Leeds players missed a lot of chances against Pompey which could have sealed the deal for The Whites.

The Crystal Palace winger also offers more creativity much like that of Summerville. Jonathan Rowe on the other hand is more of a goalscorer than a creator.

Both the options seem within reach at the moment and United will have to decide for themselves on whom to pursue.

Surely we don’t want the same deal that was offered to the Blunts? For a kid who hasn’t really that much experience?
