From the business done so far this summer it looks like Leeds United are adding quality depth to key areas. The Whites’ first four signings included three defenders and one center forward.
Out of those three defenders, two are expected to be starters – Jaka Bijol and Gabriel Gudmundsson. Sebastiaan Bornauw will replace Max Wober as the backup, but could easily slot in when needed. Lukas Nmecha will also provide competition for Joel Piroe, who started almost every game last season.
In recent days, it looks like the club is about to add more firepower to the attack. Which would be a huge boost after losing Manor Solomon to his parent club.
QUIZ: Can you name the team Leeds United sold these players to?
Jack Harrison could be on his way out
Jack Harrison has been a big topic this week, mainly what Leeds do with him this summer.
The 28-year old has reported to pre season and according to reports, he has been sharp in training and reactive to instructions. Everton and Burnley are very keen on signing him, and could proceed with a deal soon. Harrison could very well be dropped from the traveling squad for pre-season this month.

According to Tutto Juve journalist, Mirko Di Natale, Leeds are in the race to sign Juventus star Timothy Weah.
The midfielder has been the subject of interest from Marseille. But the reports add that the French club are yet to reach an agreement with the Italians. This has left the door wide open for Leeds United, if they wish to hijack the move.
Juventus reportedly want £12.9million for the 25-year old.
Timothy Weah plugs a lot of holes in the team
Weah is a very unique player, he fills a lot of roles and is proud to play where the team needs him. At Juventus, he has often operated as a right back or wing back. But he says his style of play translates across any position:
”I love to make runs, cross and deliver, so with the teammates that I have, hopefully I can benefit from that, help those guys score goals and play beautiful football.”

“I definitely have a preferred position, it would have to be wing-back, and that’s probably where I’ll play here. I’m super excited. It’s a new position for me, but it’s something that I like. Having experience of playing striker on the wing, I think that benefits me a lot. Wherever the coach needs me and the team needs help, I am happy.”
Signing Weah would mean that Leeds get cover for right back and right wing. Jayden Bogle will finally have some backup that can replicate his attacking prowess, and Weah can fill in as another option in attack.
