Leeds United are moving to secure a few more transfers following the £18m arrival of Noah Okafor from AC Milan. The Whites still have a couple of incoming priorities to sort out, but the club are also pushing to move on a few players before the window closes on September 1st.
The Whites confirmed the arrival of the 25-year-old Swiss winger, Okafor, from AC Milan earlier today. He has signed a four-year deal with the club and is likely to be eligible to be in the squad to take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Leeds have signed nine new players for a shade under £100m, and are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder and a full-back before the end of the window. They would prefer to sign one more striker, but that could depend on a big sale.
The Yorkshire giants are also mindful of the fact that there are still players at Leeds who have no future under Daniel Farke, and the club are working hard with their representatives to find new clubs for them in the next 10 or so days.

Leeds United star Illan Meslier offered to Como

Meslier has been reduced to being the third-choice goalkeeper at Leeds this season after being the undisputed number one for close to five years.
The Frenchman’s fate was sealed once he was dropped from the team towards the end of last season as Farke feared their promotion bid unravelling because of the goalkeeping mistakes.
Lorient have confirmed their interest in taking Meslier back to the club, and they are in talks with Leeds to secure a deal for him.
However, according to Italian daily Il Giorno, Como have emerged as a shock potential destination for the Leeds goalkeeper in the ongoing transfer window.
Cesc Fabregas wants to sign a new goalkeeper, and Meslier has been offered to the Italian team through intermediaries and agents.
An offer worth around £4m is expected to be good enough to take the Frenchman away from Leeds before the September 1st transfer deadline.
Fabregas is said to be evaluating Meslier, with an approach already made for Venezia’s Filip Stankovic, who was an important player in Serie A last season.
Fabregas could be the ideal manager for Meslier
The Frenchman needs to get away from the intense gaze that Leeds and the Premier League are under and work away from the constant spotlight.
He is still only 25, which is young for a goalkeeper, and has enough time in his hands to rebuild his career following his disappointment at Elland Road.
A return to Lorient would be the ideal option, but a move to Como and working under Fabregas could be exactly what Meslier needs at this stage of the window.
The former Spain midfielder is seen as one of the most exciting young coaches in Europe, and Meslier would be lucky to get a chance to work with him.
