Leeds United have had plenty of links with potential Premier League transfers in recent weeks.

The height of the excitement came around talk of Kalvin Phillips potentially returning to Leeds United with reports coming from current club Ipswich Town that he wanted to leave. However, a major update was revealed about a potential Phillips return over the weekend which you can read about here.

Furthermore, Leeds United have also been linked with a potential move for Liverpool ace Tyler Morton. Morton has only made one appearance for Liverpool this year, coming on as a substitute against West Ham United in the League Cup. He was named on the bench in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal, but game time is not coming so frequently for him and he could desire a loan move away.

That has benefited him recently playing 79 games over the last two seasons for Leeds United’s Championship rivals Hull City and Blackburn Rovers.

Even former Premier League stars like Ryan Kent have been linked with a move to Elland Road, with reports saying Leeds face competition for him from Leyton Orient.

But one of their current players could be headed out the door for the Premier League soon.

BBC journalist Jonny Buchan recently suggested that Leeds United may consider sending Manor Solomon back to Tottenham in January following a disappointing start to his loan spell.

“You wonder with Solomon whether he’s going to be able to get that time, and then you question do you keep him? Or do you send him back?” Buchan said on the latest Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast.

“Then use that spot, I’m not saying they’re on the limit of their loans, they’re not, but do you use that pot that you’ve used money-wise to get someone else who can maybe have a bigger impact?”

This would likely necessitate a transfer move for a new forward to offset to loss of depth up field, but it certainly appears a real possibility at this point.
