Leeds United have been linked with plenty of potential transfers as of late including a move to further improve their midfield options in the shape of a current Liverpool ace.
The player in question is Tyler Morton who has been linked with a move in January to help strengthen the club’s midfield options after the losses of Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev.
Morton has only played once for Liverpool this year, coming off the bench in the League Cup win over West Ham United, although he was named on the bench against Arsenal in their 2-2 draw.
Morton would bring Championship experience having made 79 combined appearances for Leeds’ Championship rivals Hull City and Blackburn Rovers over the last two seasons in loan moves.
If he did make the move to Elland Road, it seems possible that he could be joined by a familiar face.

Leeds United face competition for former Liverpool man

Ryan Kent has been underwhelming at Fenerbahçe
Leeds United have reportedly been one of the clubs interested in signing former Liverpool man Ryan Kent after his ill-fated stint with Fenerbahce.
This was boosted more when Rangers seemingly pulled out of the deal despite the comments of Philippe Clement in The Herald.
“I said already in that one year, already a lot of times I don’t go into rumours,” said Clement. “Because then it never stops, and it’s already busy with all the press conferences with you guys. So, no, I’m not going to go into rumours.”
“Of course, I know the player, and I’ve known him a long time, because the moment he went to Rangers, I was in talks with him to get him to Brugge.
“But there was a better deal, I think, in Rangers, in that way, so he chose for that. So, I’ve known him a long time, but I’m not going into rumours about bringing players on.”
With reports claiming Rangers were not interested in Kent, it opened the door for Leeds but now they face a major stumbling block with MOT Leeds, The Sun and the Yorkshire Post all reporting that Leyton Orient are set to oppose Leeds in the pursuit of Kent, making the transfer harder to complete.
