Leeds United have been linked to a lot of attackers this summer. It will not come as a big surprise as another attacking powerhouse Giorginio Rutter verbally agreed to leave the club.
Rutter has verbally agreed to join Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion. This news came in after The Seagulls triggered the Frenchman’s release clause of Ā£40 million just before its expiry.
The club had already been in a rather not-so-good situation following the departure of Crysencio Summerville. The Whites already lacked a goalscoring threat in the frontline with some creativity gone with The Dutchman.
Now, Rutter’s departure will mean another key player to replace with attacking prowess going more downhill. The 49ers are also yet to find replacements for Glen Kamara and Archie Gray.
Along with these, The West Yorkshire club must also sign a full-back to secure the defensive wings. With only three full-backs in the first team, it will be a difficult endeavour even if two of them get injured.
One among the backline is already very injury-prone with Junior Firpo who might not be able to cover all the games throughout the season considering his hospital records.
Jonathan Rowe is still on Leeds United’s radar as the club is preparing for a big offer to Norwich City. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi was meant to leave for Bramall Lane but a hiccup in negotiations means a chance for The Whites to get involved.

Leeds United turns to Rabbi Matondo as a solution
According to Football Scotland, Leeds United have shown strong interest in Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo. The Gers are undergoing an overhaul under Philippe Clement and the club is expected to put up Rabbi on the market.
The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for the Scottish side last season and scored six goals in the process. The Welsh international also made four assists in the same season.
Rabbi joined the Ibrox club in 2o22 but a series of injuries have made his appearances inconsistent at the club. Clement is ready to replace him with another winger and Leeds are looking forward to having his signatures this summer.
There has been previous interest from The 49ers’ but Football Scotland confirms that there is a bigger chance of a move to Elland Road this summer. United are ready to offer a permanent move or a loan with an option to buy.
