Leeds United continue to prepare for the January window as they seek reinforcements for their squad.
Daniel Farke’s men have had a decent start to the season after 15 games. Leeds have 29 points so far in third place. They sit just two points behind Sunderland and Sheffield United, who are both on 31 points at the top of the table.
Leeds fans will be frustrated at their loss to Millwall last week. With Sunderland dropping points on Saturday, Leeds could have been top of the table if they won at The Den midweek.
However, the Whites bounced back with a win this weekend ahead of the international break. Jayden Bogle and Joel Piroe were on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win over QPR. Piroe will be delighted to find the back of the net after recent criticism of his form.

Ryan Kent continues to be strongly linked with a January move to Leeds United. The winger has been a free agent since October after leaving Turkish giants Fenerbahçe. Kent fell out with his former coach which led to the club forcing him to train alone, both parties eventually agreed to terminate his contract to allow him to leave the club.
Leeds are not the only club interested in Ryan Kent, Preston North End also joined the race for the former Rangers man. Ex-Leeds star Carlton Palmer has warned that Preston may end up stealing Kent from a possible move to Elland Road. Palmer says Kent’s former head coach Paul Heckingbottom could sway the decision for the winger:
“Ryan has worked with Paul Heckingbottom before, they previously worked together at Barnsley in the 2016/17 season.
“There are a host of clubs chasing his signature. Obviously, having that relationship with Paul Heckingbottom will aid (Preston’s chances).”
Daniel Farke is reportedly focused on adding wide players and a number 10 in January, and Ryan Kent fits the bill.
Will Ryan Kent join Leeds?
Kent has a huge decision on his hands. Leeds United are flying and could be promoted at the end of the season. Preston on the other hand are fighting to stay in the league.
Premier League football would obviously be the main attraction for a player who has played Europa League and Conference League football over the past year. Regardless, Leeds need to act fast in January.
