The January transfer window is just around the corner, and everyone around Leeds United really has no clue what will happen. Club chiefs stated in the summer that PSR limited their movements.
The ownership claim it was the reason why the club backed out of moves for high profile targets. Last year, there was no movement in January as the Whites went on to win promotion and lift the Championship title. This time around, there is much more on the line that needs to be focused on.
Leeds are quietly making their way to safety, increasing the point gap between them and the relegation zone. But that is not all they have to do this month; with the window open, they have to make sure to get some reinforcements in to help the team.
Leeds United could be handed PSR boost in January
The club may just have been handed a huge boost when it comes to PSR. Leeds may have to offload a few names to get room to make signings in January.
Tribuna Deportiva Valencia are reporting that the La Liga side are looking for ways to cut short Largie Ramazani’s loan spell.
The winger’s arrival had not panned out despite him making an instant impact on his debut. Ramazani provided an assist just seconds after coming on during his first game.
He has since gone on to play just over a 100 minutes for Valencia. But now, the La Liga side are yet to see his impact and are turning to other options in the January market.

Another poor decision by the club
Ramazani arrived at Elland Road with a lot of promise, but his start did not match that. It took a while for him to adjust to England but by that time Manor Solomon and Dan James were higher in the pecking order.
Even with that, when he was fit and active near the end of the campaign he showed a lot of flashes. That alone should have kept him in the club’s plans for the Premier League.
But in a bizarre turn of events, he was loaned out just days into the new season. Daniel Farke and the 49ers must accept blame on this signing; it should not have gone like this.
