Leeds United have made six signings this summer, adding depth and quality to the squad from last season. The Whites are currently camped in Germany for pre-season.
Daniel Farke is still making some major decisions when it comes to shaping the squad. The team could look very different by the first week of the Premier League season. Farke explained in an interview that Leeds’ recruitment this summer is based on finding ”very good” players:
“But more important is they [new signings] are really good players. We don’t want to play basketball with them, when these guys climb out of the bus, it’s quite impressive – I quite like it! But more important to set a really good football players.”

Leeds United set to add new signings to the attack
Sources have made it clear that the next targets for Leeds are a winger and a center forward.
Daniel Farke is looking to add some depth into the attack. Last season the club did not have many options in that area, but there are now some plans to fix this. With Patrick Bamford out of Daniel Farke’s plans, and Mateo Joseph set to leave the club, there will be a need to add another striker to the team
Leeds also have a hole out wide since Manor Solomon returned to Spurs. The club could use a winger who can score and create at a high level.
Jeremie Boga’s injury history is a problem

Leeds have been recently linked with OGC Nice winger Jeremie Boga.
He was reportedly on the list of targets of wide players. Leeds are yet to make an approach for the 28-year old. Sports Scientist and specialist in Physical Therapy Dr. Brar has warned the Whites against signing Boga. According to him, the player’s injury history will be a problem:
“Leeds may take a closer look at his most recent muscular injury to see if it was related to previous injuries or recurring.” he told MOT Leeds News.
“He had three different injuries last season, which restricted him to just 21 league games.
“This would be in the higher risk category, as he would need to adapt to the intensity of the Premier League as well.“
Leeds’ focus is on Igor Paixao now
The club is now focused on trying to sign Feyenoord star Igor Paixao. Leeds are waiting on the Dutch club to respond to their latest offer. The Brazilian is in demand, with clubs across Europe showing interest. Hopefully, Leeds can fight off the competition and make their latest summer signing.
